National Signing Day for York Athletes
On Wednesday, Nov. 9, York senior athletes Sarah Rose, Jeanette Morley, and Zoe Lawless signed letters of intent to commit to athletics at a collegiate level.
Sarah Rose committed to play division one volleyball at Marquette University. She has been a varsity setter all four years at York.
“My favorite memory of playing volleyball at York was winning the Benet tournament my junior year,” Rose said.
Jeanette Morley committed to Belmont University for track and field at the division one level. She has been a varsity high jumper at York since freshman year.
“My favorite memory was breaking the high jump record during my junior year,” Morley said.
Zoe Lawless committed to play division one lacrosse at the University of Colorado Boulder. She has played attack as a varsity lacrosse player for four years.
“My favorite memory was beating Montini two years in a row,” said Lawless.
Best of luck to these athletes next year as they continue to make the Dukes proud!
