Dukes rock their socks for Down Syndrome

Tuesday, Mar. 21, students and staff wore their craziest socks in support of World Down Syndrome Day. This day is celebrated on Mar. 21 because Down Syndrome is caused by trisomy 21.

“We wore these because it’s really important to raise awareness for Down Syndrome; it’s a fun way to do it by wearing crazy socks!” said Kate Caforio, sophomore.
