On April 19, Bill O´Reilly, long time host of the O´Reilly Factor on Fox News, was kicked from the network amid allegations of sexual harassment. The conservative host has been haunted by lawsuits for years, with him and Fox paying over $13,000,000 to settle them. Recently, disturbing tapes of O´Reilly in unwanted sexual phone calls were released, causing a huge bombardment from the media and the withdrawment of numerous advertisers from the slots on his show. Two other women who worked at Fox in the past stated that he had made inappropriate remarks towards them while at work, and filed sexual harassment complaints to the network as early as 2004. O´Reilly could very well be convicted of his crime if charges are pressed in a criminal sense (which is unlikely) because there is clear evidence of what is considered classic sexual harassment. Fox News should have fired him when the first allegations were made, but they chose to keep someone who was clearly a predator and paid the price for it in the loss of their credibility.
