On October 10, some of York’s most accomplished musicians traveled to Sandburg High School to audition to be a part of Illinois Music Educator Association’s All-District Music Festivals this November.

The IMEA District I Jazz Festival will be Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Thornridge High School located at 15000 Cottage Grove Ave, Dolton, IL.  The IMEA District I Band, Chorus and Orchestra Music Festival will be Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Elmhurst College located at 190 S Prospect Ave., Elmhurst, IL.
