"You may not know me. I'm the face you pass in the hall or the song you hear at a fundraiser, but you and I are much alike. Like you, I have a passion. Since seventh grade I have had a love for songwriting, performing, and an overall appreciation for student music. But when we get up in the morning, we both share the same struggles. Feeling anxious about future plans or the crushing pressure of college admission is felt by us both. But you and I are bigger than our struggles. Much bigger than college, bigger than our majors, or jobs after school, bigger than our bullies. We are ourselves, and that is perfect."
