“I was first introduced to yo-yoing by my father who taught me the normal throw it down, hold it there, pull it back up, and walk the dog. I was around six or seven years old. I did not continuously yo-yo, but would pick it back up after a couple years, but then put it back down and repeat that process. Then the Christmas of my sophomore year, I got a set of three yo-yos. I’d have to say that a trick called the gyroscopic flop is one of my favorites.”
