Click here to donate to St. Baldrick’s
Each year, nearly 100,000 children die from cancer. In 1999, St. Baldrick’s was founded to help raise money for childhood cancer research.
For the first time the St. Baldrick’s organization has come to York, asking students to join together to fund cancer research. With a goal of $5,000, York is already on their way to helping kids in need.
On Friday Mar. 24, York will participate in a school wide event where students and staff who have previously signed up will get their heads shaved for St. Baldrick’s.
If you want to sign up to get your own head shaved, click “join” and follow the steps from there. You can also choose to donate to either an individual who has already signed up to have their head shaved or to York’s team as a whole.
