Fine Arts Week: Art Fair
This year as a part of Fine Arts Week, multiple students headed down to the Commons during their lunch and off-periods on Tue., Feb. 28 to enjoy the Art Fair. Students had the chance to get henna tattoos, color zen coloring books, get their face painted, and more. Hopefully you had the time to stop by and enjoy all the colorful hands-on activities!

Clay was available to make ceramics of whatever kind, such as roses and birds.

Senior Dan Mucci sat at the “Adult Coloring Book” table for the most part of his day and said it helped him get rid of stress.

Senior Evan Weiger painted a green “YD” for York Dukes at the finger painting station.

Pottery throwing was also available and multiple students who have taken classes for it took time out of their day to help others.

Senior Sarah Lewand was one of many students doing face painting in the commons.

Junior Hollie Albin is ecstatic to have the opportunity to do henna on other students.

Senior Nimisha Antony practices henna that was inspired by a design online.
Remember to keep up with This Is York in order to stay in tune with Fine Arts Week!
