On October 11, the Oak Brook Park District hosted a “Haunted Forest,” a haunted house for children. York Students in Key Club were invited to volunteer as haunters.

“This was my second year doing it (volunteering at the haunted forest); it was a fun experience both times,” said George Baughman, Junior.

Students from several Chicagoland schools were also able to volunteer at this event, but a large group of the students volunteering were York Students.

“It felt good to raise money and help the community,” Baughman added.
