As a mission to allow Chinese language students to understand more about the Chinese culture and tradition, Mrs. Chou and Mrs. Li, teachers of the Chinese language program at York, brought their teaching alive through the annual field trip to Chinatown in Chicago.

This year, students enrolled in Chinese 2 and Chinese 2 honors, as well as Chinese 4 and Chinese 4 Honors had the privilege of attending the field trip. While those who were in Chinese 4 and 4 Honors had the opportunity of exploring the town independently, students of Chinese 2 and 2 Honors were treated to a tour of both the town and temple by a tour guide.
