This Halloween, staff departments and student groups went all out for the costume contest on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017. Students then went to thisisyork.org to vote for who deserved to win each category. Results are found below.

Winners contact Matt Moran or Shelia Flemming for dates to deliver pastries and coffee to your department.

Student Group Costume: Chornji Trotters

Brothers Joe Chornij (senior) and Steve Chornij (sophomore) cross the finish line to win the turkey trot and the costume contest.

 

Most Creative Department: Math Department 

On Halloween of 2017, the math department cuts down the competition with their x and y axes as “number” jacks in their victory as Most Creative Department.

 

Best Aligns with your Department: Science Department

The unbreakable “Atoms” Family shatters competition and wins Best Represents their Department in the costume contest on Halloween of 2017.

 

Student Council Choice Award: York Student Services 

Although York Student Services didn’t get the “Halloween” costume contest memo, they still managed to snag Student Council Choice Award for the 2017 Halloween costume contest.
