Last Friday La Brigade had their last luncheon of the year. Since this luncheon was on May 4th the managers, seniors Jenna Gallichio, Kevin Homan, and junior Sarah Gutierrez, chose to make the theme Star Wars – May the 4th be with you. The menu consisted of stuffed mushrooms, pork chop with tater tots, and chocolate cake, but to keep the theme going the managers decided to give each dish a Star Wars themed name. Overall the luncheon was a great success; customers were pleased with their service and the food, and staff members had fun dressing up like the movie characters for the day.

Not only was this the last luncheon of the year, it was the last luncheon for the seniors on staff. As a result of the countless hours the staff spends together a family-like bond has been created, making the goodbye to the seniors very hard for everybody. The underclassman are sad to see them go, but excited to see what great things they will do in the future.
