Season looks Bright for the Dukes as York football defeats DGN 28-26
After a narrow but decisive victory against the Downers Grove North Trojans, York football plows ahead with a winning 2-1 record. A strong showing the second-quarter resulted in touchdowns scored by Nick Conroy (4), Devin D’Amore (20) and an 18-yard passing touchdown thrown by QB Max Assaad (10) and completed by WR Owen Pechous (2). A rushing touchdown by Patrick Cote (9) and a successful extra point brought the Dukes to 28 points, which was enough to hold the lead. The Dukes will face off against Lyons, who has a 1-2 record at this point in the season, for the homecoming game.
