Girl’s track and field tackles fierce competition at York Invite #3

March 10, 2020

“Nobody who ever gave his best regretted it.” This was the phrase running through the minds of the girls competing in the York Invite #3 on Saturday, March 7. The sprints coach, new to the program this year, Max Potter shared this quote with the team the prior Monday for the team’s ‘motivation Monday’ inspiration. It was clear that the girls who competed on Saturday left with no regrets, giving it their all in their races, jumps and throws. Personal records were set all across the board and the frosh/soph team left with some hardware as they placed first against some highly competitive schools. With so many season records and even personal records set, it seems the team has broken through some barriers that come with competing indoors, and the hopes are very high going into their next meet Friday, March 13.
