60 Seconds Sports for September 10, 2021

York had a great showing this past week in sports, here’s your weekly sports roundup!

The York girls varsity tennis team is catching fire at the right time. This past weekend alone, the Lady Dukes won matches against Hinsdale South, Naperville Central, and Geneva, and the girls have an undefeated record as of September 10.

Furthermore, the York football team is on a heater. The boys are 2-0 and looking for a second consecutive game tonight, September 10, at Proviso West. 

Finally, girls varsity cross country showed up and showed out this past week. The girls won their meet by a wide margin and are now widely regarded as the top dogs in the state. It wasn’t just the girls on fire though, the boys cross country team swept the floor at their first meet getting 21 runners in before the first guy on Proviso West
