“Assassin’s Creed: Unity” Released
On November 11, 2014, renowned french video game company Ubisoft released the eighth installment of their famous “Assassin’s Creed” franchise: “Assassin’s Creed: Unity.” Set in the years preceding and during the French Revolution, Arno, a member of the “Assassin’s Order,” must stop the Knights Templar from achieving world domination. Featuring historical figures like Napoleon Bonaparte and Maximilien de Robespierre, who help or hinder Arno on his quest. The action-stealth based game is known for its rich, detailed scenery and interesting characters, as well as silent (or brutal) assassinations.
However, there have been many technical problems with the game, including one that takes away the texture skin on characters’ faces, which has been dubbed “No-Face” glitch by the Assassin’s Creed community, and was named by Ubisoft’s blog in recently patched problems.
