York celebrates first Homecoming game in two years

Having their first pep rally and homecoming game in over a year, the York community was excited to participate in one of the school’s oldest traditions. Many turned out in support of the football teams in both the pep rally during school and games against Lyons Township after school. The varsity team won with a score of 14 – 7, continuing an undefeated season.

"Obviously it was a huge accomplishment for the program, and something that hasn't been done in 10 years," coach Michael Fitzgerald said. "I'm just really proud of the kids for all the hard work they put in to get us back to a winning program."
