On Thurs., Feb. 26, York juniors and seniors hosted middle school students from all three District 205 schools in the second annual York High School Leadership Day.

The day is designed to expose seventh and eighth graders to various leadership styles and trainings that they can bring back to their schools and hopefully to York.

“This day is important because a. it lets students see and get comfortable with York, b. students get to meet others from different schools and are able to make connections, and c. are able to learn what it means to be a leader,” said Sarah Milkowski, senior. Milkowski serves as one of the YHSLD Workshop Director.

The day was a huge success this year and it can only get better from here
