Last Friday, Feb 12., the first Valentine’s Day “pink out” was held to honor the memory of Annie LeGere, an eighth grader who passed away in August due to an unknown allergic reaction.

Student Council, who was responsible for the theme of the game, sold t-shirts and candy hearts the week leading up the big game while also selling candy hearts at the game.

The fundraiser ultimately raised over $1,000 for the Annie LeGere Foundation.

If you missed your chance to donate to this foundation, don’t worry! Student Council is in the process of creating pink out t-shirts that you can purchase in the bookstore.
