On Thursday, March 10, Military History classes went on an all day field trip to Cantigny park to learn about WWI and WWII.

Students explored the park and see real decommissioned tanks and enjoyed the scenery of the large park space.

¨I thought it was a very lush green park,” said senior Richard Incandela. “It displayed nature very well and provided a great open space to walk around in.¨

Once students entered the museum at the park, they were given guided tours that provided information and background of events during WWI and WWII where they can apply it to class.

¨Its a great organization which is affordable with the school and where else would you find a place where you can see history up close?” said Social Studies teacher Justin Riskus.
