Once upon a time in a high school near you…

Once upon a time homecoming was postponed by an accidental fire alarm. This year there was no fire, but there definitely was buzz about this fun, fairytale-themed dance.

Student council decorated the fieldhouse with projections of castles and knights, and a fire breathing dragon guarded the dance floor. Students flocked to the school with their friends and dates, and danced until the clock struck ten.

“My friends and I were all able to have a lot of fun and be ourselves,” said first time Homecoming attendee and freshman Julia Stone. “It was a very exciting experience.”

In addition to the fieldhouse, student council also decked out the commons with once upon a time decorations and fun activities. A student favorite was the photo booth, set up so homecoming attendees could take home a memory of the highly anticipated event.

“The photo booth was really fun,” said sophomore Sarah Pinkowski. “My friends and I took so many pictures, it’s such a great way to remember the night.”

Once again Homecoming was a hit among students. It made for a fairytale ending to a memorable week.

Below are a collection of photos taken at the dance.
