Chinese 4 and 4H go to Chinatown

On Monday, November 24, York’s Chinese 4 and 4H classes took a trip to Chicago’s Chinatown to learn more about Chinese ways of life.  Students were immersed in  Chinese cultural experiences such as traditional chinese cuisine, Buddhist temples, traditional chinese architecture, a variety of chinese souvenir shops, and  beautiful chinese sculptures and monuments such as the nine dragon wall and the twelve zodiac sculptures in china town square. York students learned all about China’s very different culture without traveling thousands of miles.
