On March 5 during second and third period, York’s percussion band participated in Fine Arts Week.  They performed in three different groups: Cadet band percussion section, Concert band percussion section, and Indoor drum line.

Cadet performed a piece named “Oboe da bi da bi,” with Concert band percussion following up next with a piece called “Bound for America.”

Indoor drum line wrapped things up with four exercises they do in rehearsals: eight’s, xem tap, double beat, and triple beat. After giving a hint of the amount of work that went behind each piece, indoor drum line ended the show with a snippet of their show piece which will debut in the weeks to come.
