Spring Fashion Trends

Spring has sprung, and with the warmer temperatures comes fresh fashion. Fun prints, sporty twists, and throwbacks are taking the summer by storm. Brands like Michael Kors, H&M, and ASOS are embracing these easy spring trends as we approach the warmer months.

A very popular spring and summer staple, shown in the collections of Diane von Furstenberg and Michael Kors, is gingham.

The checked print, usually consisting of two colors, including white, has taken over bags, tank tops, pants, and dresses.

Some of this spring and summer’s most prominent shoes will be comfortable and sporty. Sneakers, flats, and sandals are being reinvented with a more relaxed and modern feel.

New Balance sneakers are no longer a dad-only shoe. The colorblocked gym shoe may not first appear as the most fashionable summer staple, but with minimalist accessories, it can bring the perfect sporty twist to any wardrobe. Many of the most stylish Fashion Week attendants were sporting the colorful sneakers as they took to the fashion shows.

Last spring and summer we saw the classic style of the ‘90s reappear. Halter tops, high cut tanks, and crop tops hit the racks again, and they are here to stay.

Look for ‘90s inspired necklines at stores like Zara, Brandy Melville, or H&M.

We can finally say goodbye to the frigid winter’s boots and puffy coats, and welcome this summer’s tanks and shorts.
