Laura Swain, Co-Editor in Chief
Laura Swain, senior at York, is a Co-Editor in Chief for York-hi. She has been a dancer for 10 years and teaches ballet at the Elmhurst Park District. Laura also enjoys being a part of the York Dance Company (Orchesis) and volunteers for the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. Originally from Panama, she moved to the United States at the age of five and has since lived in Florida and Illinois. She loves the outdoors and has participated in programs with Shedd Aquarium that enabled her to conduct research in the Apostle Islands of Lake Superior and the Bahamian Islands. In the future she hopes to travel abroad and experience new cultures.
