The Elmhurst Famer’s Market on York and Vallette is in its last month of business until next June.  The market hosts a wide array of local fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and meats from small family businesses.

In season for October are apples, broccoli, carrots, lettuce, mushrooms, spinach, snap peas, and, of course, pumpkins.

As we approach Halloween, the Farmer’s Market also welcomes vendors with art and other holiday-themed items.

Elmhurst Bicycle will be at the Resource Booth October 8.  The Farmer’s Market is open every Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
