When it comes to spreading school spirit, the King of the Couch group Green is the New Black is guilty as charged! Seniors Abbie Lockie, Natalie Hradil, May Mann and Danielle Fite love York so much that it’s nearly criminal!
Q: What inspired your group?
A: We were inspired to create a group during the halftime show during the Powderpuff football game. We think it would be awesome for an all girl group to win for once!
Q: Besides going to football games and dressing up, what do you do to spread school spirit?
A: How haven’t we? We’ve been to a practice of almost every sport. We want everybody to love York as much as we do. We want to spread positivity and enthusiasm.
Q: Why does your group deserve to win King of the Couch this year?
A: We want to be the first girl group to win. As busy as we are, we want to make a genuine effort to form relationships with people within the York community.
