New to this school year, the Indo-Pak club is hosting its second “Bollywood Movie Night” on Mar. 13 at 3:30 pm in Forum Room A294. The movie chosen for the night is “Bend It Like Beckham,” a movie about an Indian teen who attempts to break racial stereotypes by playing soccer.

One club member had this to say about the Indo-Pak Club.

“Indo-Pak is a culturally diverse club that celebrates different aspects of Indian and Pakistani cultures and values along with others. Indo-Pak meets every other Thursday in A392 so feel free to join this ever growing club for a new perspective on life,” said Samuel Rafac, junior.

Admission to the movie will cost $2, and food will be available for $1. All money will go towards sponsoring events hosted by the club.

“The best part about this movie night is that you can experience a different culture with as little as $3, as opposed to spending tons of money by travelling to another country. So, come to Forum Room A294, relax, enjoy and have a superb viewing experience,” said Jerrin Mathew, junior.
